Who We Are
Arise & Shine Health Center is a faith-grounded outpatient mental health clinic in Glen Burnie, Maryland, founded and led by Dr. Vivian Tantoh-Mondo, DNP, CRNP, PMHNP-BC — a trained and certified lifestyle medicine and wellness coach through Harvard Medical School — together with a team of well-experienced, compassionate nurse practitioners and psychiatrists. We exist for one reason: to help people move beyond merely managing mental illness and addiction — to truly heal, thrive, and live with purpose. We bring together psychiatry, psychotherapy, psychiatric rehabilitation (PRP), intensive outpatient care (IOP), Spravato® treatment for depression, and Suboxone/Sublocade medication-assisted treatment — in person and by telehealth across Maryland and Washington, DC. Guided by Isaiah 60:1 — “Arise, shine, for your light has come” — we are growing into primary care, IV hydration, and weight management, alongside community initiatives including a food bank, showers for the homeless, and a recovery home — because whole communities deserve to rise. Our main clinic is located at 14 Wellham Ave NW, Glen Burnie, MD 21061, in the Ferndale area of Glen Burnie — proudly serving Anne Arundel County, including Pasadena, Severn, Odenton, Millersville, Linthicum Heights, and Brooklyn Park. We also welcome patients at our Lanham, MD and Washington, DC locations.
