Dr. Vivian Tantoh – DNP,CRNP, PMHNP-BC
Dr. Vivian Tantoh Mondo has over 17 years of experience in healthcare in various departments and positions. She was a medical director at an addiction inpatient setting, where she deeply understood the importance of genuine and quality care to patients and their families. She is a seasoned psychiatric nurse practitioner, having been in both pediatric and adult psychiatry inpatient and outpatient settings. She also served in geropsychiatry, critical care settings, ER, acute care, long-term care, and urgent care. She received her bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Howard University and her Master’s in Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and her Doctorate Degree in Psychiatry/Mental Health at the University of South Alabama. She is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Furthermore, she is board-certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners Board. Across almost two decades of practice, she has demonstrated an unwavering, strong work ethic. She follows clinical evidence-based practices and brings exceptional interpersonal skills to address critical patient needs and deliver quality care. She also fosters a collaborative team environment and quickly build rapport with patients and families. Dr. Vivian Tantoh Mondo works with clients struggling with varying mental health disorders, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and ADHD, amongst others. She commits to providing a comprehensive and unique plan of care for each patient, to empower them to live a well-balanced and holistic life.
Herman Jones, MSW, LCSW
Herman Jones completed his degree in Social Work at the Howard University and subsequently joined the Glass Health Programs where he served as President and Chief Operating Officer for a large substance-abusing population for over 30 years. He has worked as an instructor in Substance Abuse Counseling at the Coppin State University and provided mental health therapy in the private sector. His goal is to provide a well-structured and safe environment for patients with mental health and substance abuse issues. He strives to enable patients to examine their problems, assist them in understanding themselves better, help them to realize their potential, and to discover ways of improving their lives. He is also dedicated to helping make positive changes in patients’ lives that will allow them to be successful in their future endeavors. He works with adults and adolescents and their families to develop an individualized treatment that incorporates a cognitive-behavioral approach that encourages the patient to be part of the solution to the problems they present. He has been a licensed social worker for over 40 years and has a wide range of skills useful in providing individualized treatment that meets the patient where they are. He utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and Interpersonal Therapy (IPT). These treatments are “evidence-based” and are effective in treating persons with depression and anxiety disorders. Herman Jones’ therapy style is friendly and encouraging. He wants the patient to be active in the therapy solution and for them to be able to problem-solve and be in control of their lives for the future.
Diana Campos, Office Manager
Compassionate, attentive, and detail-oriented, Diana Campos serves as Arise and Shine Health Center’s receptionist and cares deeply about providing top-quality services to both patients and staff. With over five years of customer service experience, she can assist with patients’ needs with efficiency and compassion. Her goal is to have excellent patient interaction and critical thinking abilities.
Dr. Michele-Vera Yonga, DNP, MSN, CRNP, PMHNP-BC, FNP-C
Dr. Michele-Vera Yonga is a board-certified Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 10 years of nursing experience both in inpatient and outpatient settings. She has family and psychiatric mental health experience caring for diverse patient populations from birth to elderly. She received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington. Then she received her master’s degree as a family Nurse Practitioner, a post master’s certificate as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, and her Doctorate Degree in Psychiatric Mental Health at the University of South Alabama. She is a reliable provider whose goal is to meet every patient served at their point of need, and to arrive at an evidence-based treatment plan in collaboration with the patient. She believes that patient education is fundamental in the patient-provider relationship and empowers the patient to engage in their care. She is detail oriented, demonstrates an exceptional work ethic, and is committed to the provision of holistic patient centered care using evidence-based practice. She collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to ensure that every patient receives optimal care in an environment that fosters patient recovery. She has experience managing patients with a plethora of mental health diagnoses including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, Schizophrenia, and more.
